Emotional Rescue
The Rolling Stones · Rock/Dance-Rock/New Wave
Recorded through 1979 at Compass Point Studios in Nassau and Pathe Marconi in Paris with overdubs at New York's Hit Factory, Emotional Rescue was the first Rolling Stones album made after Keith Richards' Toronto drug charge was resolved, blending the band's dance-rock and reggae inclinations with Mick Jagger's falsetto on the title track, and it topped both the US and UK album charts on release.
