The Mission · Gothic Rock
Formed by guitarist Wayne Hussey and bassist Craig Adams after their split from The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission wrote much of their debut on tour and then knocked it out in just four weeks at Ridge Farm and Utopia Studios with producer Tim Palmer, eventually earning a gold certification and helping keep goth rock on the UK charts through the late 1980s.
