High 'n' Dry
Def Leppard · Heavy Metal/NWOBHM
Def Leppard's second album was the first to be produced by Robert John 'Mutt' Lange, whose meticulous layered-guitar approach turned 'Bringin' On the Heartbreak' into an early MTV power-ballad staple and set the sonic template the band would perfect two years later on Pyromania; it was also guitarist Pete Willis's last full-length record with the band.
