Killing Joke
Killing Joke · Post-Punk/Industrial Rock
Recorded live and largely without overdubs at Marquee Studios in August 1980 and self-produced on purpose -- the band wanted only an engineer who could execute their vision -- Killing Joke's debut fused tribal drums, industrial dissonance and dub-heavy bass into a sound that helped seed both industrial rock and gothic metal.
