Released June 6, 1983 on Solar Records, Midnight Star's self-produced breakthrough fused synthesizers, drum machines and horn-driven funk into a sound that pushed the vocal band toward the electro sound then rising out of the West Coast, with 'Freak-a-Zoid' and the title track becoming quiet-storm and club radio staples.
