Too Much Pressure

The Selecter · Ska/2 Tone

Cut in a matter of weeks at Coventry's Horizon Studios over the 1979-80 turn of the year, The Selecter's debut fused Neol Davies's ska songwriting with Pauline Black's commanding vocals, though Black later wrote in her memoir 'Black by Design' that producer Errol Ross 'somehow wrecked' the record compared to how their breakout single 'On My Radio' had sounded.
