Robert Hunter Caldwell (August 15, 1951 – March 14, 2023) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician known for blending R&B, soul, jazz, and blue-eyed soul, becoming a staple of the "yacht rock" sound. His 1978 debut single "What You Won't Do for Love" reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 6 on the R&B chart, and he went on to release 16 studio albums over his career, remaining especially popular in Japan.
